Shepherd’s Karin is all about snuggly comfort on cold days. The Karin slippers sit high up around the heel and sweep down to meet the furry fold-down front cuff at the ankle. For additional warmth and comfort, you can unturn that front cuff so that it wraps around your ankle.

Made from 100% real Australian Merino sheepskin these slippers are naturally temperature regulating. Keeping your feet cool when it’s hot and keeping them toasty on colder days. They are available in stone-taupe, chestnut or grey, with the woolly inner, died grey or left a natural colour to match the outer suede. Like every Shepherd of Sweden slipper, the Karin is handmade. The Karin style has rustic looped stitching down the sides and around the back of the upper but fine machine stitching down the vamp and around the sole. For added durability, they also have a flexible EVA sole that tapers towards the heel. 

Please note that the natural ‘plushness’ of the sheepskin will make your slippers appear slightly tight at first but this will soon flatten and mould to your foot. If the length feels fine, you have the right size. If your toe is touching the front of the slipper you need to size up or a hole may form over time. The Karin slipper can feel slightly smaller than the usual fit of Shepherd due to the narrow style on the front. As a guideline, if you are between sizes, you may prefer to pick the larger size. Sheepskin Slipper Care Advice

Like all real sheepskin products we do not recommend you washing your Karin sheepskin slippers in the washing machine. We recommend allowing dirt to dry and brush it off or using lukewarm water to spot clean any affected areas and allow to air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry or dry in hot places as this will dry out the suede, which will cause cracking and shorten your slippers lifespan.
