Keep little ones warm and looking super stylish with this beautifully made beanie hat, made form a blend of 40% Alpaca, 25% Lambswool, 35% Acrylic and finished with a luxurious detachable Alpaca fur pom pom. Perfect for when your heading outdoors. Each piece is knitted, in this charming Fair Isle pattern, with an extremely insulating alpaca and lambswool blend keeping little ones heads and ears super cosy and warm whilst the gently felted finish means it's also snag-proof. The perfect gift for a newborn, Christening, Christmas or baby shower.
One Size 6-12 months.
DO NOT GET FUR POM POM WET - Due to specific tanning processes, the fur on these hats must not get wet. Please always remove pom pom before washing hat.
NO NOT WASH FUR POM POM - due to the ecological tanning process, to restore the fluffiness, gently rub with talc and brush with a wire pet brush.
- A cool handwash (30º) with a mild detergent such as baby shampoo is recommended.
- Wash for no more than 5 minutes.
- Rinse in lukewarm water, always pressing, not wringing the fabric.
- Wrap the item in a clean dry towel to absorb excess moisture.
- Reshape as necessary and lay flat to dry.
- Do not hang your wet alpaca garment as it will stretch.
- For very stubborn stains, please take your item to a professional dry cleaner.
- We recommend that all alpaca products are folded or rolled, rather than hung to prevent stretching.
- Use a wire pet brush to restore the fur
- Avoid perfume or hairspray when wearing this product
- If liquid is spilt on the fur, cover with talcum powder and gently but deply rub in, leave for an hour or two then brush away excess.
- Always leave to dry away from direct heat such as a radiator.
All Alpaca fur used by Samantha Holmes is ethically sourced from herd wastage (animals which have dies from natural causes).
