With over 35 billion plastic bottles finding their way into our seas each year and over 90% of all marine birds having plastic deposits in their stomachs, the founders of Weaver Green felt it was important to look at creative and useful ways of turning recycled plastic bottles into beautiful additions for our homes and everyday lives. 

You’d never know it to touch or feel them, but the gorgeous Scandinavian style blankets and throws are hand woven from up to 300 recycled plastic bottles. Perfect for indoor life these soft, cosy blankets aren’t just great sofa throws but can also be used as outdoor blankets for picnics, beach days and long summer nights. Best of all, they’re stain-resistant and easy to clean and a great choice for those with children, pets or a habit of spilling red wine.

Their wide range of environmentally-friendly, recycled rugs, feel just like wool and are made in exactly the same way meaning everything from Weaver Green has helped prevent hundreds of single-use plastic bottles from ending up in the ground or floating in the ocean. 

Crafted from recycled man-made materials also means their items are moth resistant and won't attract dust mites making them a favourite with allergy sufferers.
